1. Surf Club, West Beach, Palm Jumeirah
Head to Amazonico for a taste of Latin flavour with views of Dubai’s Financial Centre. This award-winning restaurant, bar and lounge is spread over three stories. Interiors are fitted out with lush green Amazonian themed decor leading up to the Brazilian-themed rooftop terrace with equally impressive DIFC skyline views. 3. Iris, Meydan Grandstand
Iris is a Lebanese concept and a favourite among party-goers in both Dubai and Beirut. Its new location next to the Meydan racecourse offers Insta-worthy views of the downtown Dubai skyline. Heavy interiors give this venue the feeling of a nightclub. Iris attracts a young crowd looking to dance long into the night. Head here for light bites, live music and creative cocktails. Iris’s brunch from 3 pm – 8 pm is famous. The ideal way to try the menu while enjoying the sunset and live beats.
4. CÉ LA VI, Address Sky View, Downtown Dubai
CÉ LA VI, located at the top of Address Sky View, is the Dubai outpost of the famous concept from Singapore. From this rooftop you can enjoy impressive Burj Khalifa and sunset views. There is something for every agenda here. The setting is split into restaurant, SkyBar, club lounge and pool deck so guests can lounge, dine on contemporary Asian cuisine, smoke shisha or enjoy a signature blended beverage with a view. The atmosphere varies according to the time of day. Lunches are relaxed while evenings are more energetic. The rooftop infinity pool and chair swing hanging in front of Burj Khalifa make the ultimate Instagram photo opportunities.
5. Clap, DIFC
One for fine dining and full city views. Japanese restaurant and rooftop terrace, Clap, was founded in Beirut. Located on the ninth floor, the highest spot in DIFC subsequently has the best views on offer. The restaurant features rich interiors and contemporary Japanese cuisine. One for the foodies, the restaurant offers an experimental full dining experience. The ‘Omakase menu’ translates from Japanese to: ‘I leave it up to you’.
6. Garden of Dreams, Address Beach Resort, JBR
This recently opened al fresco bar, offers excellent views of Ain Dubai (Dubai Eye) and the JBR skyline. Garden of Dreams has a chilled out atmosphere. The terrace features cosy sofas to lounge on as well as its own DJ booth, shisha and a menu of Mediterranean bites. Garden of Dreams is fast becoming a favourite spot to catch the sunset in JBR. You can make a night of it. Garden of Dreams, is the sister venue to dinner-and-show concept ‘Dream’ also located at Address Beach Resort.
7. Bar Du Port, Dubai Harbour Pier Club, Dubai Marina
Mediterranean bar and brasserie, Bar Du Port, brings the combined atmosphere of the Ligurian Riviera and the French Riviera to Dubai. The newly opened port-side location has light interiors that give the feeling of a coastal beach bar while the Mediterranean menu takes French influence.
