1. SĀN Beach, West Beach, Palm Jumeirah
The newly opened San restaurant and beach club is part of The Club, which will eventually comprise nine beach clubs, at Palm West Beach. The venue takes its name from the San, Africa’s first indigenous tribal group. Guests can pick between the sandy beach, infinity pool or alfresco seating area that features a swim-up pool bar as well as the indoor restaurant. San serves food throughout the day starting with breakfast, the menu draws from the Mediterranean with extensive options to suit every taste. Interior design has been inspired by the elements while thoughtful art and sculptural works add to the ambience throughout. 2. Drift Beach Club, One and Only Royal Mirage, Al Sufouh
Drift Beach Club proposes panoramic views, airy light cabanas and easy-breezy beachside dining. Guests can pick between a huge infinity pool that has an excellent Insta-worthy view of the Dubai Marina skyline, or the sandy beach that has options including luxurious island beds, private cabanas as well as sun loungers. 4. Sal, Burj Al Arab
Sal translates to “salt” in both Portuguese and Spanish and makes reference to the salt of the sea. This exclusive club is part of the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel which offers the ultimate Instagram backdrop. The 100m infinity pool gazes out towards the sea. Sal’s airy white interiors contribute to a setting that is relaxed and sophisticated. Aside from the striking Burj Al Arab and sea views, the club’s restaurant offers a European menu served from the alfresco terrace.
5. Twiggy by La Cantine, Dubai Creek
This venue takes its name from 1960s pop culture heroine – English model, singer and actress ‘Twiggy’. Twiggy by La Cantine’s impressive infinity lagoon pool has become a Dubai Instagram icon. In addition to the pool, there is a sandy beach for guests to enjoy. Take in views of the Dubai Creek and downtown Dubai skyline while you swim and dine. 6. Nammos, Four Seasons, Jumeirah
A Mykonos-favourite among celebrities and jet setters, Nammos Dubai is the second outpost of the Greek restaurant and beach club. It’s one for party-goers that like to see and be seen. The restaurant, fitted out with light natural materials, serves up Greek favourites with a fine dining accent. The private beach is a go-to for relaxation on sun loungers, sundowners and shisha.
7. Summersalt, Jumeirah Al Naseem Hotel
Head to Summersalt for that all-important Burj Al Arab Instagram backdrop. Spend your day on the private beach or head to the pool. Live beats play out from the resident DJs creating an energetic atmosphere that goes on into the evening. The menu spans international favourites including sushi and ceviche as well as more filling dishes such as Linguini Lobster.
8. Nikki Beach Club, Pearl Jumeirah
The internationally famous Nikki Beach draws in those looking for a good time. The DJ and live musicians keep crowds, that are often dancing in the venue’s large central pool, entertained. The pool also features a swim-up bar with bar stools and sunloungers submerged in the water. The sandy beach is also lined with sun loungers and VIP cabanas. Nikki Beach’s restaurant serves up a healthy menu of salads, sandwiches and sushi, there’s also an impressive 4-tier shisha terrace. In addition to its lively atmosphere, Nikki Beach offers guests superb sunset views.
9. Wet Deck, W Hotel, Palm Jumeirah
The W Hotel is known for attracting a trendy, young crowd. Here, the adults-only pool and beach club offers guests diversity. Visitors can pick between pool, beach or deck at this venue, while the poolside menu changes weekly. Sunsets are spectacular with views overlooking Jumeirah beach. The atmosphere is made lively by WET Deck’s in-house DJ. Sundays are ladies’ day which includes special offers on food and beverages for female guests.
10. Beach by Five, Palm Jumeirah
Five Palm Jumeirah draws in a young, fun-loving crowd. This 150-metre private beach is lined with sun loungers and cabanas. There’s also an Insta-famous glass-walled swimming pool and a hot tub here. The menu comprises light Mediterranean bites. Live DJs keep the mood energetic with house music. While Beach by Five is more chilled out than the hotel’s poolside, on Fridays, the venue’s Bohemia party draws in the crowds with a roster of international DJs.
